• Owner and pitmaster Jari Jukka Kallunki (JJ) is a chef and self taught welder who built his reputation through catering using his JJ’s BBQ Smoker Grande trailer pit. The main pitmasters are Jesse, Mona, Tonni and Ember
• The first restaurant opened in Salo in 2019 as one of Finland’s earliest true low and slow barbecue restaurants. The site features two handmade 1000 gallon offset smokers and two insulated box smokers
• A second location opened in Pirkkala near Tampere in 2025
• Known for authentic American style barbecue including brisket, pork ribs, pork belly, pulled pork, jalapeno cheddar sausages and a Saturday only pastrami brisket special
