• Owned and operated by chef and pitmaster Clint Davies, who spent around 15 years cooking in kitchens around the world before discovering American barbecue in the southern United States and becoming one of the first to bring low and slow barebcue to New Zealand
• Meats are smoked in New Zealand’s first custom-built smoker, co-designed and co-built by Clint himself using apple wood and other selected hardwoods
• The Kumeu site offers an authentic destination “drive-out” feel reminiscent of American roadhouses
• Menu standouts include Jalapeño and Cheese Cornbread, the Pulled Lamb Burger with BBQ sauce and their award-winning Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage which was a recent winner of a Gold Medal in the Great New Zealand Sausage Competition
